I’m sure you too heard that people saying how hard it is to get up from the floor but doing
It trainsand strengthens leg muscles and helps with balance. It’s surprisingly challenging.
* Placing foot on the ground. Bring your chest up, shoulders back and down to make your back
straight, and pull your navel back towards your spine activating your deep core muscles.
Focus putting your weight on the back and outer edge of your foot to activate your glutes. Rise to a standing position. Keep your hands behind your head.
* Using the same leg you used to stand up, step back with that leg to lower yourself to the starting position.
Ideally, do as many reps as it takes to reach fatigue. Begin with a set number, like 10, to get used to the movement. Do 5 reps using the right leg as the lead leg (going up and going down). Then switch using the left leg for the last 5…or vice versa. Try to keep the number of reps the same for each leg.
